Description
DS461S suspended solids analyzer uses an optical method to measure suspended solids in sewage and other water. Suspended Solids refers to solid substances suspended in water, including inorganic substances, organic substances, mud, sand, clay, microorganisms, etc. that are insoluble in water. The content of suspended solids in water is one of the important indicators to measure the degree of water pollution, and suspended solids are the main cause of water turbidity. When the infrared light emitted by the light source passes through the water sample to be tested, it will be partially absorbed by the suspended solids in the water sample, and the absorbance of the water sample has a specific curve relationship with the concentration of suspended solids, so the suspended solids concentration of water can be obtained by measuring the absorbance. Using this principle, DS461S can measure the concentration of suspended solids up to 30g/L.
